Smaller go-to bar with fast service and half covered backyard patio. It looks cute here. Smaller tap list with rotating ciders. They're cool with you bringing pizza from the underrated Atlas pizza across the street, too.

Cat’s Paw is a bit of a gem on Division. It looks pretty small from the outside, but there is a back area that does have some heated seating. There is also seating in front of the bar outside. Every time I’ve been by, it’s busy-obviously a local gem. The best reason to come here is for the vibes. They play very loud music that is full of energy and fun. The bartender was friendly and upbeat. Everywhere is loud, so that could be overwhelming for some. There’s also some communal seating, or if you get your own table, it’ll most likely be close to another table. So be ready to get cozy! I would come back, but probably only for something on tap. The mixed drinks were good, but not amazing. I had a smoked maple old fashioned, which was good but overly sweet. My friend had a whiskey sour that was tasted really watered down.

Drinks and Food: • The drink menu is extensive, featuring unique cocktails and local brews. I tried their signature drink, the “Cat’s Meow,” and it was delicious! • The food options were equally impressive. I highly recommend the sliders — they were a hit among my friends as well. • The long wait to get in was totally worth it! The lively crowd and fantastic atmosphere made for a memorable evening. • Whether you’re looking for a casual drink or a night out with friends, Cat’s Paw Saloon is an excellent choice. Solid, cozy, divey space. Ladies behind the bar are great, drinks are a fair price, folks of all walks come through the door. Pleasant covered-but-still-outside area, too. Theoretically there's food? But I've never seen evidence of that. Just have a drink

This is a really nice hole in the wall bar. I decently recommend trying an iceburg drink. Bar tender is great. Prices are reasonable. Dogs welcomed. Inside and outside seating available. No food availability, but sometimes they have chips and other snacks.

Quite literally the best place we visited in Portland. The staff were incredible and honestly made our first visit to this city. Micky and Sarah are dreams!!!

Nice spot; however, the backdoor patio cigarette smoke comes in through the propped door...which permeates every where. If you plan to have more than one cocktail, expect to smell like cigarettes.
